Feeling in a music mood. Some might say everyday a person can be in a music mood. With me though it is a bit different. I tend to go on for hours listening to whatever genre I am in the mood for. As you can see my music mood today is Best of 80's from legendary bands such as Guns N' Roses, AC ⚡ DC, Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe, Metallica, Def Leppard, U2, and Aerosmith to name a few. When a persons asks me what kind of music do you like, it's like people expect me to say some of the artists of this era and in my opinion are not artists at all. Very few real talent left in the music business. Sometimes it can depend on the genre but most of my favorites have been around long time. So here is to a rock n roll ending year...

When I first saw this formal released I wanted to eat it lol. I suddenly got the craving for Christmas deserts like candy canes and cookies shaped in stars and trees. The Fantasy Angels Audition [TOP 40]

I would have wrote this special post yesterday but I was totally drained and needed the night to refresh my head. Today I look back on yesterdays adventure. It was one of the best days in my career. I will forever cherish and very proud of how far I have come. We will know who reached top 20 in a few days. The feeling of not knowing is both exciting and scary. The sim was full as judges and the audience awaited to see each Prospective♥Angel. Good luck to all the Prospective♥Angel's.

Reflection of the Past

 

I woke up in a good mood today and was in the mood to look back on my accentors Greek history. Who doesn't know the Greeks. In this modern day history we always look back and pay respects to the people who started it all. They are the ones that shaped humanity from the beginning. Even though thousands of generations has passed the Ancient times are still very much alive in theater, movies, books and so on. My people's history is very much important to me. It's more then just putting on the famous toga and the leaf crown. For us Greeks it was a way of life. Ancient Greece (and Ancient Armenia by 20 years) is older then Ancient Rome.

One Step Closer

I am still in disbelieve that I actually made it to top 40. Every model hopes to of course but when your name is called out it's just pure bliss. I gave myself the night to gather my thoughts before I officially did my blog post. I am forever grateful and humbled to be able to have the chance to be one step closer to my dream of becoming an Fantasy Angel. A real life dream coming true in Second Life is just beyond words for me. I was just so happy I was in shock mode whole time.

I honestly had no idea though that I made because I was competing in another competition that ended up with same time but luckily right when it ended my IM's started flooding from friends congratulating. I was confused since I had lost the competition I was in so I asked for what? lol o.O They all were shouting Rose you made it to top 10 (they were releasing names by groups of 10 and I was part of the first group).  I am so exciting to take on this adventure and see where it leads me. There is still much work to be done and I plan on doing my very best like I've never done before.

In Honor of Paris

On November 13th during the night in Paris, France it was just another day for the citizens and tourists. The beautiful night in Paris sadly turned into an horrific tragedy. The whole world was in state of shock. For many in the United States like myself it reminded us of September 11 when the Twin Towers were struck by two planes and many innocent lives were lost.

This is a formal I have been working on for a week now as a special release but I changed the colors this morning to match the French flag as a tribute. #PrayforParis #UnitedWeStand

The Fantasy Angels Company [Casting]

This is the style I created for my first casting for The Fantasy Angels Company. I have been a fan of Victoria Secret for very long time in real life. When this agency was created I was excited but never had the courage to cast. Many have been or had moments during their career where they don't feel good enough to audition or cast for something so prestigious. I have felt this way for long time and I feel some of the amazing things that have happened to me this year helped me have a lot more courage to take on things that mean a great deal to me. Of course I am nervous but that's normal. November 7th is the last day to send in the application and nobody will know who will be in the top 40 until the PINK PARTY that will be held by the agency next Saturday. I do have confidence that I just might make it and if I do I plan to take things one step at a time and hope to get to top 20 for semi-finals then top 10 for a chance to become an official angel. Designers will be providing exclusive creations with 100% of the sales going to the Autism Speaks Charity. This year's event officially opens to the public on Saturday, February 6th, 2016 at 10:00am slt and will close at 12:00pm midnight slt on Saturday, February 20th, 2016.

Miss KELINI 2016 Challenge #2 - Black Elegance

Part II of the challenge was Black Elegance. My favorite two colors are black and red so this challenge for me was a joy to style. I didn't want to just put on a formal with jewelry call it done. I wanted to style something different. Once I saw these beautifully crafted shoes the inspiration came to me and knew what I wanted and this was the result. I love it and it was exciting to show it off on the runway. Until next week Sunday which is the finale. I am nervous but happy. Win or loose I wouldn't change a thing.

Miss KELINI 2016 Challenge #1 - Sexy Leather Chic

Today was the first/second of four challenges. I had a lot of fun styling. I paired my dress with Gizza sunglasses which I got from the gacha, Modern Couture hat, a lovely studded purse and knee high open boots which I love.

This is Halloween...

  I just love Halloween. It's the perfect time to dress up in costumes. People usually go with famous costumes as their choice. I however like to spice things up and prefer styling dark creatures. Why? Because being the villain is just more fun even in the end the villains die.

  My Halloween tradition is watching the Disneyland commercial. I just love it and it makes me laugh. I also enjoy watching the classic Halloween theme movies such as Hocus Pocus, Nightmare Before Christmas and Halloweentown to name a few.

  In this post I choose to wear a new release by Kelini Haute Couture designed by Eva Kelini for those who do not know. If you haven't visited the mainstore, well you have to because she is amazing designer. I kept my styling simple this year compared to what I have done in the past. I still love it though and the hair adds perfect touch for a bad but elegant witch. Happy Halloween readers!!

Miss KELINI 2016 Photo Challenge

The next day or so we received the schedule notecard related to the events of Miss Kelini. Our first challenge is "Modern Baroque". Before I begin to style and shop I always research the theme. Inspiration came to from the brand Dolce&Gabbana. What makes this fun but difficult at the same time is, is all candidates will be wearing the same formal. So I had to do my best to stand out. I am looking forward to seeing what all the other candidates styled.

Miss KELINI 2016 Audition

When I read the notecard that I had a chance to audition for Miss KELINI 2016 I was really excited and happy. Once I received the notecard containing the audition information I went to shopping right away. I quickly knew in my head what I wanted to style. I miss styling for competition so I've been having a blast so far. Today finally came and I was ready for my audition for Miss KELINI 2016. I was excited and nervous. My backstage routine is to always arrive 1 hour early. From there I check myself to make sure nothing is wrong and just listen to music until showtime.

The runway was very nice in Indian theme and I was ready to take my walk. It feels like it went by fast but so much fun. All the wonderful ladies did amazing and we received the results live after the show was over. I was jumping for joy when I read my name and really looking forward to the challenges and finals.
