Like a Broken Doll

Now that I have time off from everything (which is nice). Good time to do some blog posting. It also gives me time to think about the upcoming holidays and I am excited for Thanksgiving this Thursday. It's a little bit crazy that it's already the end of the year. For those curious to know about the corset, I designed this for Freakshow Carnival (event has ended). It will be available in more patterns next year and new collection of corsets.

Bad Angel

All my worn items in this photo are not available for purchase expect the tattoo which is from TAOX  (only for mesh bodies). Got inspired by a song to do this post and felt it would be fun. The hair is not from SL but drawn on. This is my only semi-free month before Autumn arrives I will be busy until the year ends. So doing fun posts till then.

The Deadly Assassin ~ Deadshot

 

My next character portrayal is Deadshot. Now Deadshot is a male but obviously I am no guy so of course I styled a female version. I chose not to style all the way because the tattoo art is very nice detail and I wanted to show it off with my duel BlackMaster - Guns K - 951 (lovely detail on the handguns). Reason why I wanted to portray Deadshot is because we have one big thing in common, that is we never miss a shot, it's my perfectionist side of me and his one of the most amazing assassins, period.

Background Story

He has been a major figure in the Suicide Squad in its latest two incarnations, where his skills as a marksman and his disregard for human life serve to advance the group's objectives. Probably his most defining trait is a desire to die in a spectacular fashion, this being his primary motivation for joining the Squad. He feels he has no reason to continue living, and, while he does not want to commit suicide, he simply does not care if he dies. Various reasons have been cited for this, but the most common thread in them is his parents' peculiar hatred for one another.

The Warrior - Katana

  Adding my final one today, another character from Suicide Squad, Katana. She is a warrior. I also for this character had to style my own version as there was nothing that came close to what I wanted. I feel all so far have come out pretty good. The sword is a gacha item and those have deadlines when you can play them at certain gacha themed events. This sword is from Caboodle - Assassin's Sword RARE. The attire however is something I made and will be available soon. The poses come in a fatpack from ::eXpression:: Poses - Assassin.

Enchantress ~ The Dark Sorcerer

 I continue with Suicide Squad posts, yay. Here I display my own version of Enchantress. I decided to style my own version because there was nothing out there that came close to the actual costume. All items are bought from marketplace and I've been having a lot of fun styling pure fantasy.

Background Story

 Freelance artist June Moone is invited to a costume party at an old castle, and stumbles upon a secret chamber where an unknown magical being (later named as Dzamor) empowers her to fight an evil presence in the castle. Saying the words "The Enchantress" her appearance changes from blonde-haired June to black-haired and costumed Enchantress and defeats a minotaur creature from a tapestry. Soon after, she defeats a monster at Cape Kennedy and a mirage of a demonic creature manipulated by a crook.

 In her next appearance, however, the Enchantress is a misguided character fighting Supergirl, who prevents her gaining omnipotent magical power and cancelling all other superpowers on Earth, twice. Her villainous side takes over after this, and the Enchantress then continues her career as a member of The Forgotten Villains and part of the army of supervillains during the Crisis on Infinite Earths event.

Ever After

I've been fantasy shopping a lot lately and came across this super cute style. It's actually one my many favorite since I love flowers, especially roses. I saw the coffin and thought it would be a great fairy tale post so here it is my Ever After. The outfit and coffin are from the same brand Boudoir but the hair you can only buy from the Hair Fair, brand is Lovey Dovey. Enjoy!

My husband got me into becoming a new fan of Suicide Squad so I blame him for this lol. That got me inspired to do a fun blog post about my new favorite character Harley Quinn. I'm not much of a fan of DC comics but for the first time I am for this movie. I quickly liked the character Harley Quinn because if I was a certain level of nutty I'd be something like her in my own way. My entire look you can buy from marketplace.

Original Background Story:
Dr. Harleen Quinzel, M.D. appears briefly in Batman: Arkham Origins before her transformation into Harley Quinn. She interviews Joker at Blackgate Prison and falls in love with him after he confesses his fascination with someone who he considers special to him (Batman).

Independence Day

I lovveeee the 4th of July! My family may be born in mostly Europe but I'm considered Multiracial American (5 to be exact). I'm not afraid to show my pride. America will be 240 years old. Some people overtime have forgotten why we celebrate.

Brief History:

Independence Day of the United States, also referred to as the Fourth of July or July Fourth in the U.S., is a federal holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, by the Continental Congress declaring that the thirteen American colonies regarded themselves as a new nation, the United States of America, and no longer part of the British Empire. Independence Day is celebrating the history and traditions of the United States.

Model to Supermodel

  I'm sure there have been plenty of questions in this subject in modeling schools or a speech like event over the years. I was talking to a friend of mine and it got us deep thinking. What truly separates a model to supermodel and what really makes a supermodel. Both great questions with plenty of common opinions. I wanted to write about this because this is what my blog is for, writing my thoughts and experiences.

  I speak for models who have been models for a minimum of 3 years or more. So, a person would wonder how does a model reach that very special "supermodel" title. In my opinion a supermodel isn't someone who has done a thousands things. To me a supermodel is someone who is a survivor, a warrior and a fighter. A person whose been through the mud and then some. A model who never gives up or gives in no matter what she is told. That to me is a supermodel. A true person with a real heart of gold. Those who don't follow the rules, are bold, different, unique, daring and shows their passion in everything she does. Extremely few fall into this category because if it was easy then everyone would do it. That's how legends are made.

To New Beginings..

I'm on the path to a new chapter in my life and I'm excited. I look forward to changes I will make in my Second Life as well as real life. My first big change is as you can see my hair color. Miss Virtual Diva 2016 - 1st Challenge

I walked my first runway for Miss Virtual Diva 2016 contest. It was exciting and just felt good to be back on the runway. For the first theme we had to style Ex-Machina which is cyborg for those who don't know. At first I wasn't sure if I would be able to pull off something nice while keeping to the theme. It took me a day for it sink in and give it some thought as I wrote some ideas down.

After shopping around and checking my inventory for items I already have I started to slowly put my styling together first then shopped for cyborg pieces such as my arms, legs and eyes. The designers for this genre did fantastic job and I enjoy searching for things out of my comfort zone. It helps me discovers brands I never knew of.

Rose woke up in a strange lab not knowing where she was and what had happened. She broke the chains that binded her and walked towards a mirror. Rose was human no more but a half cyborg. Not knowing what to do, she picked up a red leather dress designed by Ghee and jewelry set by Virtual Diva. She styled herself up so no one would notice as she escaped the lab and never looked back.

Off to the Jungle

 

 

The next style I had fun putting together. Perfect way to start an adventure. The jungle has all types of animals so got to be prepared and this very cute beach bag has all the things you need. To purchase the safari necklace you must play the gacha located on the left side of the GizzA shop. I got lucky got the giraffe on my first try. Everything you see here is located at the fair expect *{ SeVered GarDeN }. I bought that from marketplace since I couldn't find any at the fair that fit the style.

Summer is finally here! I went through all the stores at the Tropical Summer Fair and bought a lot of good stuff. Many from favorite brands to brands that were new to me. Miss Virtual Diva 2016 - Official Presentation

Simply WOW! I almost didn't recognize myself and accidently skipped when I was looking through the special album made by Angels Kristan - Owner of Virtual Diva on Facebook. The photograph session was a lot of fun. I also got to meet Angels and illargi. It was a great start for me in the morning. I haven't been this excited and happy in a long time. I do not enter and do everything. I am very selective so you can see when I'm in it I'm very serious about it while having fun to.

Today is the last day for the photo challenge to and I can't wait to see what is next for us candidates. I'm already proud to have entered this competition no matter what the outcome may be.

Saying Goodbye to Another Legend

  It was a emotional day yesterday for myself and fans across my hometown. The day we dreaded had come. It was my favorite players last game. As a person who grew with basketball, it is my first love for sports and my first team and forever team is the legendary NBA Lakers. To many it's just a team, to others they love to hate us, to another famous team we have been long time rivals like any other in sports history. Today however is not about any of that. Today I pay tribute my own way to my favorite team of all time. Purple and gold is forever in my veins. It is because of basketball that helped me through some tough times in my life and I am forever grateful. I did grew to enjoy other sports as well through the Olympics but as I said basketball is my first love.

The best memories many will say "Oh hands down it's the championships". To me however a great team isn't defined by how many championships they have, it's about how they handled themselves through the good, bad, and the ugly. As one of my favorite actors once said...

I feel this hands down describes Kobe himself and the Lakers as a team throughout the years. It also reminds me of myself of how no matter what I never back down. Motivation, determination, anger, happiness, all that is just fuel to the fire to never give up. It may be Second Life or Real Life I have been through a lot in both worlds. My Crazy/Fun Week

I had a long week for sure. So much stuff felt cramped up in one week but I survived. The weekday was mostly putting finishing touches and real life work. The weekend was busiest of all in a while for me. I hosted for 5 hours at the Relay for Life Photography Exhibition. I had not hosted in that particular way in a very long time, so it was fun. Sunday was Miss Royalty 2016 finals which was very exciting and happy the day had come. The lovely and amazing model Amity Sorbet (Miss Royalty Romania 2016) took the win. As one chapter ends another begins. I look forward to an amazing summer.

Why do I Relay?

 I relay because different cancers runs in my family's health history. Most recent being my aunt who has breast cancer and my uncle who passed away a year ago, as well others who have passed and survived. I also relay because no one should have to go through such terrible diseases and so the future generations will never have to experience what we have and are.

Angel of Hope

This is a special styling I did for Stand for Hope team. We are a new team to Relay but as volunteers we have 10+ years experience in volunteering combined. I am excited, happy and really looking forward to this season. I've been without a team for a season and felt time to join a new one. So far it's been great and look forward to a great season. This will be my 5th season so it's extra special. I am a lot more hands on for first time. None would give me that chance to do more so I'm happy both Captains have given me this chance for me to prove I can contribute more to the team then just being told what to do. I won't say what I am the organizer of yet because it's too early. Go Relay!

A person once said to me I suck at doing dark styling's when they had no clue that it's my favorite, my thing. For a long time I stayed away from doing fantasy when in fact it's my passion. Almost 3 years now into modeling I realized some just don't like people who are truly different.

Spring Is Coming

I started to get a bit too busy to blog but kinda lost interest. So I gave myself some time to think what direction I want my blog to head to. I thought about my favorite styles and what I enjoy styling most. Part of being a model is getting better at our craft. I'm going to turn my blog into a fantasy one.

Feeling of a Warrior

 

Ever have that moment where you just feel warrior like. When some days you have to put on a brave face but really feeling like fire on the inside. You want to get passed it but some things just linger on no matter how long it's been. In stories of fiction, non-fiction, and film the warrior is portrayed as the great heroic person. What people don't see is how the person truly is, what they have been through and how they got where they did. An all time favorite of mine Lord of the Rings series is a great example of a true masterpiece. It truly showcased what each character went through in life.

 

I also wanted to showcase this badass outfit. I was browsing through shop and came across it, I knew I had to blog it. No, I am not blogging for any brand either. Being a freelance blogger is more my style. To be able to blog anything I want is a great feeling. I dislike limitations on my imagination.

I know it is still a bit early for Valentine's Day but since I have such a busy schedule next month I am celebrating early. I did some shopping for few minutes today and bought the new set from Zuri Jewelry. You can purchase by pieces or like I did with the HUD which is worth it as a group member. I didn't feel like shopping for any new clothing so I wore something I made for the Christmas Expo last year. It is now available instore, along with the rest of the collection.

I felt fantasy today so I styled as a mermaid. Just something different was nice to do today to take my mind off of some things. This is also my first post of the year so yay. I hope to fill up my blog a lot more this year. Maybe setting a goal would be good idea.

I am looking forward to a lot this year and hope to blog about some of those events. I do know first will be the charity my organization is hosting next month. I have been looking forward to that few months now. After that Relay for Life season begins and I am happy to be apart of a new team. We plan to go all out and I will do my very best with the events I am in charge of. That's all I will reveal for now.
