The Autism Speaks Charity Event is hosted by the reigning queen Miss Royalty 2015 - JewelOfDeNiel. Designers will be providing exclusive creations with 100% of the sales going to the Autism Speaks Charity. This year's event officially opens to the public on Saturday, February 6th, 2016 at 10:00am slt and will close at 12:00pm midnight slt on Saturday, February 20th, 2016.
For those who wish to support the cause, may visit Athena Couture mainstore to donate early. The kiosks are available at landing point and inside the store.

Science Autism Speaks has committed more than $560 million to its mission, the majority in science and medical research. This investment includes the funding of more than 700 cutting edge research projects, fellowships and initiatives as well as the world’s largest open access genomic database on autism stored in the Google Cloud. The Autism Speaks Autism Treatment Network is a collaboration of 14 medical centers pioneering high-quality, coordinated healthcare and support for children and adolescents with autism and their families.

Family Services Autism Speaks provides families with actionable resources to address the challenges associated with autism. Autism Speaks Tool Kits have been mailed and downloaded nearly 400,000 times - including the 100 Day Kit for newly diagnosed families and tool kits for family support, transitioning and employment. Autism Speaks has awarded 966 grants to local service providers, camps and other programs across the U.S., totaling $7.63 million in funds, for the development of community programs and scholarships for individuals with autism. Autism Speaks has donated 2,961 iPads to enhance individuals’ communication skills and, through the AutismCares program, over 900 financially disadvantaged families affected by autism have received funds to assist with unplanned hardships.

The Autism Speaks Autism Response Team connects families, individuals with autism, as well as professionals, to important tools and resources. and responded to 48,000 calls and emails in 2014.
Advocacy National advocacy has resulted in more than $3 billion in federal funding
dedicated to autism research, monitoring and professional training through the Combating Autism Act in 2006, the reauthorization of the Combating Autism Act in 2011 and the Autism CARES Act in 2014. Autism Speaks also led efforts for the passage of the 2014 ABLE Act that enables people with disabilities to create tax-free saving accounts. In addition, 42 states plus the District of Columbia have enacted state autism insurance laws.

Awareness As a result of the award-winning Autism Speaks “Odds” campaign in partnership with the Ad Council, there has been a 50 percent increase in awareness of the prevalence of autism among parents of young children. On the global front, Autism Speaks has established partnerships in more than 70 countries on five continents to foster international research, services and awareness. In 2014, more than 10,000 buildings, landmarks and communities on seven
continents joined the Autism Speaks Light It Up Blue campaign in support of UN-sanctioned, April 2nd “World Autism Awareness Day”.

Walk Now for Autism Speaks In 2013-2014, more than 887,000 individuals attended our annual Walk Now for Autism Speaks events in support of the autism community. The Walks took place in nearly 100 cities across North America

Miss KELINI 2016 Challenge #2 - Black Elegance


Part II of the challenge was Black Elegance. My favorite two colors are black and red so this challenge for me was a joy to style. I didn't want to just put on a formal with jewelry call it done. I wanted to style something different. Once I saw these beautifully crafted shoes the inspiration came to me and knew what I wanted and this was the result. I love it and it was exciting to show it off on the runway. Until next week Sunday which is the finale. I am nervous but happy. Win or loose I wouldn't change a thing.

Miss KELINI 2016 Challenge #1 - Sexy Leather Chic


Today was the first/second of four challenges. I had a lot of fun styling. I paired my dress with Gizza sunglasses which I got from the gacha, Modern Couture hat, a lovely studded purse and knee high open boots which I love.

This is Halloween...

  I just love Halloween. It's the perfect time to dress up in costumes. People usually go with famous costumes as their choice. I however like to spice things up and prefer styling dark creatures. Why? Because being the villain is just more fun even in the end the villains die.

  My Halloween tradition is watching the Disneyland commercial. I just love it and it makes me laugh. I also enjoy watching the classic Halloween theme movies such as Hocus Pocus, Nightmare Before Christmas and Halloweentown to name a few.

  In this post I choose to wear a new release by Kelini Haute Couture designed by Eva Kelini for those who do not know. If you haven't visited the mainstore, well you have to because she is amazing designer. I kept my styling simple this year compared to what I have done in the past. I still love it though and the hair adds perfect touch for a bad but elegant witch. Happy Halloween readers!!

Miss KELINI 2016 Photo Challenge



The next day or so we received the schedule notecard related to the events of Miss Kelini. Our first challenge is "Modern Baroque". Before I begin to style and shop I always research the theme. Inspiration came to from the brand Dolce&Gabbana. What makes this fun but difficult at the same time is, is all candidates will be wearing the same formal. So I had to do my best to stand out. I am looking forward to seeing what all the other candidates styled.
